Caught up in
Mountain sky;
I smile lazy;
Happy tears;
Cloud shadows

Summer Day

One of my favorite moments; A cloud and its shadow.

My first discovery of cloud shadows came while driving into the mountains on my way to the Fort Burgwin Research Center just south of Taos, New Mexico.  Studying there, I discovered the sweetness of the Penasco Valley.

Forever captured, paint and paper the size of a postage stamp, memories.

Here as I sat just out from civilization, just far enough to be away; I sat remembering the deep, happy love of so many years ago.  The cloud danced beyond time.

paint much love, always,
