A Sense of Place

“Holy Darkness
River of unbroken rigidity.
Resonate the overcast softness;
mitigate my distress”
Within the Emptiness

I stop and paint my words. We dance, nature and I, listening within the still, small voice of peace, joy, and compassion.

A Sense of Place

I fell in love with Plein Air during my studies at Fort Burgwin Research Center, Taos, NM. Sharing the journey, I teach with the heart. Through direct and contemplative observation methods, we paint deep into the intimacy of the dance.

“Maledictus
Arousing timbers
Dark night callers
Drift-sleep walking
Negate our scandal
Echoes of modernity
Sky fire blazing
Skinless daymare I do not see”
When Night Calls
