  4. when first i held you art i squeezed hard as the power of those first works buzzed through me. you put on paper, canvas, scraps most of what you wanted and all of what the world needed. if that was all there was, artowks to see, that would have been enough. but there is more, there is you and your experience and otheres know now, looking, that their life is their own. thank you for continuing on with making visual that which blinds. sorry its been so long. if ok, i want to steal some images for the new place….ioemacollection.com.

  9. My Dear Heart – I have missed reading your poetry and seeing your art. I’m so happy to see this post. I have been so tied up with my daughter’s cancer fights, I neglected everything else. They are both doing well and I’m thankful for all the prayers. Keep painting Love always, your friend Helen

  10. Mmmmm! I’ve read it before but this poem is still more lovely today. Reading your posts make me feel as if we’ve spent an afternoon together, but I just realized that I’ve been remiss in telling you this–how would you know otherwise? Thank you for reminding us that we aren’t alone. We all have the same opportunities to hold each other up, and you do it so well.
